This was a busy week - had Peng over from Monday to Thursday, then had Indu and Anita over from Friday to today (Sunday)... and now they are all gone and our house is back to being very quiet, and very empty again. Sigh....
Husband was not able to spend much time with the gals, as he was (IS) just too exhausted trying to stay above the pain. He has little or no energy left for anything else at all. He was able to get up for a little while on each day, if only to say Hi to the girls at least once, but the rest of the time he only managed to get up to have his meals and then head back to bed, or have a shower (with my assistance) and then head back to bed. It is wiping him out completely, trying not to let the pain take over!
I really loved having the girls over this week - we all had a lot to catch up on, took them shopping, went for hi-tea with my hi-tea gang on Saturday, where (again) we had a LOT to catch up on, and talk about.
Today is going to be a quiet day - guest beds have been stripped, sheets changed, towels ready for the wash, etc. Other than that nothing planned for today, though my parents are planning on dropping by later to see Husband. They are always so upset that they cannot do more to help, but then what is there that anyone can do?
Tomorrow afternoon we will do the MRI, Tuesday morning we will see the Ortho surgeon, Wednesday morning we will see the Pain Management doctor... and let us hope that all these will result in SOMETHING positive happening, as there have just been tooooo many negative things happening to Husband lately. So, please continue to keep Husband in your thoughts and prayers, that he has the strength to continue fighting, and that he WILL get better, he WILL prevail!
And, before I forget... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONY (for today), and HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN L (for tomorrow)... and may you both have a truly wonderful year ahead.
