The soreness in his nether regions is SO incredibly bad, that our GP talked to a couple of gastro colleagues of hers to get more understanding of what could be the problem. Both of them actually said it could be colitis rising from the radiotherapy (kind of like radiation!!) and have recommended 2 different types of antibiotics, and a pain killer gel to be applied internally. Well, Husband refuses the gel (he says that right now he feels like he has red hot pokers stuck up his bum, and it is just too painful), but he has taken the antibiotics.. and we can only hope that they work fast.
Fingers crossed, and I will do another quick update as he gets better. But, the chemo scheduled for this Friday is now put off till 19th Nov....
