MRI next week Monday

Update: Saturday 28th Nov:
- MRI appointment changed to Monday 30th Nov at 4pm, as the anaesthesiologist is not available till then. We should still be able to get home by early evening, so no overnight stay required... which is a relief for us both :-)
============================================

Quick update: We are scheduled to go into hospital on Monday 30th Nov, at 9.30am, for the MRI to be done, under anaesthesia, at 11am. The whole procedure should take, at most, 1.5 hours, and we should be able to go home by early afternoon. Subsequent to that, we will be back to see the ortho surgeon on Tuesday morning, so that he can go through the MRI snapshots with us, and, well.... and see what we can see!

Also, on Wednesday afternoon, barring a miracle cessation of the pain, we are also scheduled to go see a friend of my brother's - a very senior lady doctor who is a Pain Management specialist in a government hospital just round the corner from where we live, to see what can be done to control the pain better, while waiting for a more permanent solution (if there is one!).

Until the pain is under control, Husband is not going to be able to make the drive to Melaka for chemo... which has now been delayed almost two weeks. So, please, please, continue to pray for Husband, that the pain can be brought under control smoothly, that we can get back to chemo, and that the cancer also be brought under control.

Our friend, Peng, just left this morning, heading back to SG. It was great having her here - she was like a breathe of cheerful fresh air in our rather despondent household! We have another 2 friends coming for the weekend too - which will also cheer us up!

So, till next time folks, stay safe, stay HEALTHY.
