You know the one thing I am looking forward to, for both Husband and myself, once the cavity is all healed up? For both of us to SLEEP THE WHOLE NIGHT WITHOUT DISTURBANCE! With no worries about the colostomy bag leaking, with no worries about the pain from the sore, with no worries about staying connected to the vac pump, with no worries about keeping the dressing air tight!! Just to be able to sleep will be such luxury - especially for Husband. He has not slept properly for a long time, not since all this started, but in the last 3 nights he has not slept at all. This leaves him exhausted, despondent, angry.... and it just leaves me awfully awfully upset for him, because it is terrible to see him like this.
Keep us in your thoughts still, especially Husband.
