Birthday celebrations

Yep, it was Husband's birthday on 14th June and I had already planned (from December LAST YEAR) where I was taking him to celebrate the birthday in proper style! We went to Tanjung Rhu resort on Langkawi Island and had a truly wonderful time. The resort was lovely, the room was spacious and comfortable with a BEAUTIFUL big extra-large king-size bed, separate sitting area, separate dressing room, huge bathroom. Lovely :-). Only drawback was that we were on the 3rd floor, and there was no lift but, what the heck, it was still a great holiday! Check out these pictures:

We were at Tj Rhu from Sat 14th June through to Wed 18th June, and really enjoyed it. The only fly in the ointment was Silkair! THREE HOURS DELAY on Saturday flying to Langkawi from Singapore.. and then on the return journey NO BUSINESS CLASS Lounge at Langkawi airport! Sheesh.... very disappointing. Next time it is Malaysian airlines and nothing else!

Of course, the extra side benefit of being on holiday till mid-week is that it makes for a VERY short work week the rest of the week!!
